Engaging the support network

Recovery is not a journey to be made alone. We will bring close, key family members and loved ones together to form a support network to lean on when needed. Another key component of engaging the support network include collaborating with existing clinical and medical providers, or making referrals for additional providers when appropriate.

 Introduction to peer-support organizations

Engaging with peer support organizations such as AA, NA, and Al-Anon not only connects us with other people in recovery so we can start to building a sober community, but open the doors for new ways of thinking and living through the teachings and principles found in AA and NA texts.

Introduction to S.M.A.R.T. goals and mindfulness practices

In conjunction with the community and principles we begin to grow from attending AA and/or NA meetings, as part of recovery coaching services we introduce S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-bound) goals in order to plan the steps necessary to reach new heights personally and professionally. Beginning to incorporate mindfulness practices into daily life not only keeps us more engaged, aware, and present in our life but increases positive emotions and ultimately becomes a tool for long-term emotional regulation.

Regular drug and/or alcohol testing

We incorporate regular drug testing into our recovery coaching program as both an accountability and safety measure.
