Transportation & Sober Companion Services
Day One Recovery offers safe and reliable transportation to and from inpatient treatment facilities, detox centers, hospitals, and aftercare programs.
All transports are conducted by trained recovery companions with the experience and professionalism necessary to ensure safe passage to the next step on the road to recovery.

Local transportation
Day One regularly provides transportation services for several treatment centers in Northern California– including Living at Reflections Luxury Rehab, Golden Gate Recovery Center, Bayside Marin, Duffy’s Napa Valley Treatment, and other regional Acadia Healthcare programs.

Long distance transportation
If you or your loved one will be traveling out of state for treatment, our trained recovery companions can provide the much needed oversight and support for a safe trip to the final destination. We are able coordinate directly with treatment centers or detox facility for a smooth transition into care.

Singular event sober companion services
Recovery companions can provide critical one-on-one support that allows an individual to continue with the tasks and responsibilities of day-to-day life. We regularly accompany individuals to court dates, medical appointments, and other personal appointments and events.

Recurring or long-term companion services
Working with a recovery companion can be a singular event or long term– whenever extra support, encouragement, and accountability may be needed. We can set up weekly or monthly meetings with a recovery companion for recurring appointments.
Pricing Information
Fees for sober transportation and sober companion services are calculated on a case-by-case basis to account for individualized needs. For local travel we set our pricing based on an hourly rate and miles traveled. For transportation and companion services that include air travel and necessitate overnight stays for round trip travel, we typically set pricing at a fixed daily rate.
